The current research on angelica mainly focuses on the chemical composition, pharmacological effects and quality research, and the cultivation of angelica is also biased towards research on cultivation conditions and cultivation management. There are few reports on the effect of hydrogen-enriched water treatment on angelica seed germination. This study intends to study the treatment of angelica seeds with hydrogen-enriched water solutions of different concentrations, and study the effect of hydrogen-enriched water treatment on angelica seed germination, in order to eventually find an effective way to promote angelica seed germination. method.
Using the angelica seeds as the test material, the orthogonal design method was used to study the effect of hydrogen-rich water treatment on the germination of angelica seeds. The results showed that the concentration of hydrogen-rich water during seed soaking was 50%, and the duration of seed soaking was 24 hours, which could better relieve seed dormancy. The concentration of hydrogen-rich water used during germination was 10%. Germination index and α-amylase activity are both high. Among the three factors investigated, the length of soaking time is a significant factor affecting seed germination, and the most suitable soaking time is 24h.
After the hydrogen-rich water treatment, the germination rate, germination vigor and germination index of Angelica seeds increased. Conclusion: Hydrogen-rich water can promote the germination of angelica seeds.
